Mirror Copies

6th-level illusion (Sorcerer, Wizard)

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 30 ft.
Components: V, S, M (three strands of your hair)
Duration: Concentration (up to 1 minute)

You create three illusiory copies at specific points within range. You are constantly switching positions with the copies though means of teleportation so it’s impossible to track which copy is real.

On each of your turns, in addition to your own movement, you can move each copy with a movement speed equal to your own.

Whenever you cast a spell, you can choose its targets or the origin of a line or cone area from either of the copies' positions (in addition to your own).

When a creature makes an attack roll against you, they first roll a d4. On a 4, they hit you and the attack works as normal; for any other result, the attack would hit an illusion (which can't be affected by the attack).

A creature can attempt to see through this illusion as an action. If they do, they must make a Wisdom: Perception check; on a 15 or higher, they also hit you when rolling a 3, on a 20 or higher, they also hit you when rolling a 2, and with a 25 or higher, they can always tell you and your copies apart. A creature that attempted to see through your illusions can't do so again for the duration of this spell.
